When most of us empty our food tin, we just throw it away or put it in the recycling bin. While recycling is obviously a better option, but it's a shame to throw it away, you can also turn these empty tins into beautiful decorations or storage boxes!
1. Make stationery storage tank
Paste recipe pictures or scrapbook pages onto your storage tank for a very unique look! You can use these storage tanks in your office or wherever you need them. Even flowers in these jars work well.
2. Towel containers
This is a great way to store bathroom towels if you can find a large enough jar. You can find more details here.
3. Desk boxes for ornaments
If you glue the jar to a flat piece of wood and then paint the whole part one color, you'll have a very smart, beautiful desk storage container!
4. For growing flowers and plants
Whether you're growing basil, parsley, cilantro, or other plants, you can keep them all in one place. Just drill a can into the stake.
POTS can be glued together in pyramid shapes for desk work
6. Be creative with tableware storage containers
Paint all the cans with flat boards. Then fix the pot to a flat piece of wood, making sure each pot is upright. Add a belt at the top to make it easy to carry!
